Bathroom Takeaway chooses Birmingham for second store

Bathroom Takeaway Bham

Birmingham has been named as the second city that Bathroom Takeaway will be putting down roots, opening a store and trade counter, at was once the Plumb Center Mimworth Industrial Site, creating at least five jobs in the local area.

Following three years of substantial growth across the UK and Europe, the bathroom retailer is delighted to call kitchen retailer Howdens, Magnet and Screwfix as their new neighbours - creating a one stop DIY hub in the heart of Sutton Coldfield.

Bathroom Takeaway is investing £250,000 in the area with the new store which is 4,000 sq ft at Unit E1, Stockton Close on Minworth Industrial Park in Sutton Coldfield. The store will showcase Bathroom Takeaway’s wide range of bathroom suites, towel rails and furniture units which are sure to suit everyone’s budget. Suites will include low cost bathrooms that can be accessorised to individual tastes through to luxurious bathrooms which have been featured in National Home Magazines such as Real Homes and Ideal Homes and priced from just £199.97.

Bathroom Takeaway’s Store Development Manager, Michael Ellis, said: “Birmingham has been on our radar for some time as we already have a strong online trade customer base in the Midlands.  The plan is to be up and running this Spring with exciting times ahead. We welcome all cv’s from ambitious applicants to be sent to hr@bathroomtakeaway.co.uk.

Following the success of the Manchester and Birmingham “Takeaways”, the plan is to then open a store in London as we’ve already identified three possible sites. It will be a case of just watching this space.”

Bathroom Takeaway Limited has been trading since November 2014 and already has offices in the UK, France, Italy and Germany, a flagship retail store on Regent Road in Salford, a 10,500-pallet capacity Distribution Centre in Trafford and a head count that has more than quadrupled in size from just 2 to 70 full time employees.
