Disruptive innovation and its impact on the Home Improvement sector

Kingfisher CEO Véronique Laury was the key note speaker at the 4th Global DIY Summit in Stockholm on 8th June. The summit was a networking event for retailers and manufacturers in the home improvement sector and its overarching theme this year was ‘A disruptive world – new trends in home improvement’.

Véronique was asked to talk about putting the customer first to transform the Kingfisher business. Her speech focused on Kingfisher’s transformation plan, some of the thinking behind it and what they want to achieve outside of the profit improvement they expect it to generate.

This video is from an interview she gave after her speech, talking about where she sees Kingfisher in 5 years' time and the influence of disruptive innovation on the home improvement sector.
