Insight iGarden30 Retail Price Basket

Since the beginning of the 2015 gardening season Insight has been tracking on a regular basis, the retail prices of 30 of the best selling garden products across the retailers, B&Q, Homebase, Wickes and Wyevale. The basket has been carefully selected to include all of the products that a consumer would consider purchasing when looking after their garden.

In March 2019, we added B&M, The Range and Wilko to the audit and the basket of products is then compared across each of the named retailers, ensuring that where possible we have an exact specification match. In many cases the lines are identical i.e. same brand, barcode etc. and for the remaining lines, we ensure we have a direct match of both specification and quality.

To the left you can download an example of the iGarden30 basket completed on 10th April 2019.

The total numbers shown are the add-up of the basket of 30 lines, if a consumer walked into these retailers on the date specified and purchased the full basket.
