Wren Kitchens Opens 106th Store
Wren Kitchens has invested over £1 million in a brand-new showroom with 43 full-sized kitchen displays and virtual reality.
The 14,144 sq. ft. showroom in Hereford Retail Park is the biggest kitchen showroom in Herefordshire. It offers the biggest range of kitchens in the UK with thousands of colours and styles to choose from.
The brand-new mezzanine floor offers a comfortable design centre and an interactive tap and sink lab, and on the ground floor, customers can explore 43 kitchen displays to suit any budget and any style, as well as an array of storage solutions.
The new site has created 25 jobs including management, designers, information advisors and home surveyors.
It’s Wren’s 106th UK showroom and 109th worldwide, as it continues to expand across the northeast coast of America.
The British manufacturer welcomed the High Sheriff of Herefordshire, Joanna Hilditch, to cut the ribbon and welcome customers for the very first time. The retailer donated £500 to the High Sherriff’s worthy cause Herefordshire Community Foundation which improves the lives of local residents.
High Sheriff of Herefordshire, Joanna, said: “I was delighted to open this new kitchen showroom as it’s brought new employment to the area, as well as a focussed training programme for the employees and real career opportunities.
“Wren’s virtual reality is something else – it’s completely unique and an experience I’ve never had before. This fantastic new showroom provides another option for Herefordians looking to renovate their kitchen space.”
General Manager of the showroom, Tom Bordewey, brings his wealth of experience after being Assistant Showroom Manager at Wren’s Gloucester showroom.
He said: “After four months of transformation works it feels fantastic to be opening our doors to the public for the very first time and seeing their reaction as they walk in.
“It truly offers the “wow factor” with everything customers need under one roof including worktops, handles, lighting, flooring, appliances and virtual reality to bring kitchens to life – the possibilities are endless to achieve an affordable luxury kitchen to suit anyone’s taste.”
Customers can explore a host of kitchen displays including minimal, dramatic, classic and industrial styles as well as utilities, boot rooms and wine cellars. To envisage style and colour combinations there’s a brand-new inspiration station which is an ergonomic design area to bring all your samples and ideas together and to help make those all-important design choices.
The showroom also features clever storage solutions such as magic corners, pull-out towers, walk-in pantries and spice racks, perfect for the smallest or biggest of spaces.
Wren offers complete kitchens including worktops and price-matched appliances for as little as £2,500, but also designs kitchens for some of the UK’s biggest celebrities such as Rylan Clark, Megan McKenna and Lucy Watson.
Children are welcome to the showroom with dedicated baby changing rooms and a children’s play area. Plus, you can even bring your own pet! The showroom is open Monday to Friday 9am – 8pm, Saturday 9am – 6pm and Sunday 10.30am – 5pm.
