Wilko to Relocate Warrington Store
Wilko, one of Britain’s best loved value home and garden retailers, has signed a lease for a new store at Golden Square Shopping Centre.
The new 15,000 square ft store is due to open in April 2019, with the existing wilko store at Cockhedge Shopping Park closing its doors on Saturday 23 March.
Team members from the existing store will be joining the new wilko, which is expected to generate more than 30 news jobs within the local area.

Craig McGregor, Head of Retail said: “We are delighted to have signed the lease at Golden Square Shopping Centre and can’t wait to open our doors in April.
“We’ve loved serving hard-working families in Warrington, and are looking forward to welcoming them to our brand-new store.
“The shopping centre is in a fantastic central location with great transport links, and we’re sure it will become the go-to place for locals looking to stock up on products for their homes and gardens for years to come.”
