To mark the special occasion, Fiona Wolstenholme, a representative from Save the Children, will lead a ceremonial ribbon cutting on behalf of the wilko Charity Partnership, along with wilko Head of Retail, Craig McGregor and wilko Warrington Branch Manager, Keith Peers. Wolfie, the Warrington Wolves mascot will also be making an appearance.

The launch day activity will include:

Wilko Warrington manager Keith Peers said: “The team is busy preparing the final touches to the store ahead of the official opening on 10 April.”

“We are very excited to welcome our loyal customers in Warrington into our new home at the Golden Square Shopping Centre. We know shoppers will be impressed by the quality and value we have to offer this spring, it is the perfect time to come and browse our collections.”

“We’ve got lots of exciting things planned for the launch day including goody bags for the first 100 customers through the door, so we hope everyone can come and join us to celebrate.”

Ian Cox, Centre Director of Golden Square Shopping Centre, said: “We’re delighted to be able to welcome wilko to the centre. Here at Golden Square, we have a fantastic selection of fashion, beauty, homeware and technology stores for shoppers to choose from and it’s great that wilko will be joining our line-up on the 10 April.
