Wilko to open new Tamworth store

Wilko is due to open a brand new store at Tamworth's Ventura Retail Park in January 2017, creating 40 new jobs.

Wilko Retail director Robin Lassiter, said: "Work is well underway on our new Wilko store at Ventura Retail Park in Tamworth, which is due to open on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. The 8,200sq ft store will be an exciting addition to the local retail offering and will create 40 new jobs in the area. We're looking forward to introducing customers to our range of quality products at everyday low prices."

The new store will offer DIY and decorating, homeware and furniture, garden and outdoor making it the perfect one-stop-shop for local people to run, repair, maintain, improve and live in their homes.

Wilkinson have been trading for almost 80 years, have more than 370 branches and more than four million customers visit their stores every week.
