Wilko to open latest new store in Stockport

Discount home and garden retailer Wilko is due to open a brand new 8,200q ft store at the Peel Centre in Stockport in October.

Retail director at Wilko Anthony Houghton said: “We are delighted to have signed the lease at The Peel Centre and are looking forward to serving the local community from October and for many years to come.”

The family-owned company, with 409 stores and Head Office in Worksop, was originally founded in 1930 and sells products including homewares, furnishings, garden items, DIY and decorating, and health and beauty ranges.
