Wilko Launches Click And Collect Service

LOGO ONE 725

wilko is launching a click and collect service for the first time at all of its stores nationwide.

This service is part of the everyday household and garden retailer’s continued focus on offering customers more flexible ways to shop, and extending its omnichannel offering.

Free collection is offered on all orders, and items will be ready to retrieve instore within just three hours.

This simple to use service offers customers a new and convenient way to shop for the retailer’s core range of everyday essentials, such as cleaning products, storage, toiletries, hardware and DIY, and pick-up everything they need in one convenient trip.

Customers visit wilko.com and shop online as normal after selecting a click and collect store. Once the order is complete, the chosen location will prepare the order and alert the shopper as to when their purchase is ready to pick-up from a new, instore collection point.

Other additions and changes to wilko’s shopper experience include; launching pick a day and / or time delivery, creating third party parcel collection points at selected stores across the country, reducing the price of home delivery options and introducing Klarna as a payment option on wilko.com.

Ben Exall, Digital Director at wilko, said "Rolling out free same day click and collect to all stores helps to ensure we’re providing hard-working families with a shopping experience that values their time and money.

“We’re delighted with the customer feedback following the improvements we’ve made in recent months; this is great recognition for wilko team members and our partners, who are working tirelessly as we accelerate our omnichannel transformation.

“We continue to refine the wilko shopping experience, with more customer improvements to launch in the coming months.”
