Wickes to open new store in Dorking

Wickes will be opening its new shop at Vincent Lane on Wednesday and will be one of the first in the country to feature a counter service.

The new-look store has been designed with a new layout intended to help shoppers easily find what they need.

Martin Newsham, store manager at the new branch, said: "We're excited to be opening the new look Wickes store in Dorking.

"As well as offering great quality and real value for money, we're confident that the new store layout, in-store features and expert staff will provide everyone with the tools, materials and advice they need to complete their project.

"We're delighted to be one of the first stores in the country to offer the counter service and we're looking forward to our official store opening."

The new counter service will allow customers access to the company's "one hour click and collect" service as well as free one-day delivery.

The store will feature brand new kitchen and bathroom design centres, complete with professional design consultants on-hand to give advice on any type of project.

The store will host 4,000 new products, including famous brands, tiles and flooring, plus a wide array of seasonal product ranges.
