Wickes to open new store in Chesham

A NEW DIY store will be opening in Chesham on Saturday.

Home improvement retailer Wickes will be opening the doors of its new store in Townsend Road at 11am on September 3.

The new 27,000 sq ft store will be offering special deals to its customers in the days after its opening.

Tim Matthews, Wickes’ Director of Retail Development, said: “The new Wickes store is a major investment in the area and plays a significant role in our ongoing store opening programme across the UK.

“We’re delighted with this latest addition to our estate. Chesham needs a DIY store that‘s serious about home improvement. We offer a range of quality DIY and trade products for the local community, and we know that once a customer has visited one of our stores they return time and time again to enjoy quality products, low prices and practical advice.”

The new store will be open Monday to Saturday from 7am-8pm and from 10am-4pm on Sundays from 10am to 4pm. It will be officially opened by the town's mayor, Derek Lacey.
