Victoria Plumb boosts e-commerce team with three new appointments

Online bathroom retailer Victoria Plumb has made three new appointments within its e-commerce team.

Paul Carmichael has been recruited as e-commerce manager from digital marketing and e-commerce agency Summit where he was responsible for managing the digital marketing strategy for Argos, Homebase, Habitat, Three Mobile and Carpetright.

Mark Skinner has become paid channel controller, also joining from Summit where he was senior client manager working with companies such as Homebase, Viking and Habitat.

In the final appointment, Jason Hotham has taken up the role of SEO & content marketing controller. Hotham was previously senior SEO project leader at Summit, where he worked with brands such Carpetright, Selfridges and Bonmarche.

The new team members will support Victoria Plumb’s brand development plans including building on the success of its TV campaign and other marketing initiatives.

New e-commerce manager Paul Carmichael said: "The e-commerce team are currently working hard on developing the online strategy for 2013. As well as updating the website, we plan to invest a lot more into digital marketing channels, along with improved analytics and tracking to fully understand the way our customers shop."
