Victoria Plum launches MFI bedroom range
VictoriaPlum.com has added an MFI bedroom collection to its product range, having bought the rights to the brand name in 2011.
The Victoria Plum website explains: "The MFI business was founded in 1964 as Mullard Furniture Industries, and quickly established itself as the UK’s go-to home furniture brand, with over 200 stores nationwide."
It adds: "Despite being loved for its easy-to-assemble furniture and great value for money, the company simply couldn't keep up with the ever-changing tastes of British consumers and disappeared from our high streets in 2008. This isn’t the end of the mfi story, it’s just the beginning…"
The website indicates that a living and dining range are 'coming soon' although no dates are specified.
Jon Crook, head of trading at VictoriaPlum.com, said: “The team at VictoriaPlum.com have used extensive customer research and market insights to carefully select our MFI range. We are really proud of our bedroom furniture and think it is the perfect collection to launch MFI back into the market and help VictoriaPlum.com to further grow as a leading online home retailer.”
Danni Smith, head of marketing communications at VictoriaPlum.com, said: “We are very excited to be launching the exclusive MFI bedroom range and are delighted to be bringing such a well-known brand back to life through our advertising campaign. The use of CGI within our advertising is evolving as we continually develop our technical capabilities. This is a very exciting time for VictoriaPlum.com and there is much more to come in 2016.”
