Two Directorate Changes at Norcros
Norcros plc, a market leading supplier of high quality and innovative bathroom and kitchen products announces the appointment with effect from 1 May 2019 of Alison Littley to the Board as Non-Executive Director and Chair designate of the Remuneration Committee.
Norcros also announces the stepping down of Jo Hallas as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Jo will continue in office until the 2019 AGM of Norcros plc in July and will not seek re-election then, when Alison will take over as Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
Alison Littley spent the majority of her executive career in large, multinational organisations such as Mars and Diageo before becoming Chief Executive of a government agency serving both the public sector and corporates. She stepped down in 2011, and now has various non-executive roles, including James Hardie Industries plc, the Dublin-based international building materials group, where she is a member of the remuneration committee, and recently she joined the Board of Headlam Group plc where she is Remuneration Committee Chair Designate.
Commenting on these changes, Martin Towers, Chairman, said "I am delighted to welcome Alison Littley as a non-executive director of Norcros plc. Her broad range of skills and experience will be of significant benefit to the Board. The Board and I very much look forward to working with her over the coming years.
"I would also want to put on record the Board's appreciation of Jo Hallas's valued contribution as a non-executive director of Norcros since September 2012."
There are no disclosures concerning Alison Littley to be made under Listing Rule 9.6.13 other than her other directorships referred to in this announcement.
