Travis Perkins Appoints New Chief Information & Technology Officer
Travis Perkins, the UK’s largest supplier of building materials and equipment, has appointed Phil Tenney as the Group’s new Chief Information and Technology Officer.
He will join the Group in early 2021 and sit on the Group Leadership Team, reporting directly to CEO Nick Roberts. He comes with a strong track record in digital transformation and modernisation developed during his senior roles across a number of sectors including retail (most recently Asda), banking (HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group) and professional services (Accenture).
As the construction industry continues to adapt in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Travis Perkins plc, the owner of businesses including the Travis Perkins general merchant, Toolstation, Wickes, BSS, CCF, Keyline and a number of other plumbing & heating businesses, has made huge strides in transforming its use of technology for improved convenience, greater flexibility and simplicity for customers by investing in its digital infrastructure, including improvements to transactional web-based platforms and other technological capabilities.
Commenting on his appointment, Nick Roberts said:
