Tradepoint opens first Kitchen & Bathroom outlet
B&Q's trade-only stablemate Tradepoint has opened its first dedicated Kitchen and Bathroom Warehouse at the B&Q Filton store in Bristol.
The £4m investment offers trade customers a choice of 27 kitchens, both rigid and carcass options, and 14 bathrooms, available for next-day delivery - a first on these ranges for Tradepoint - or same day collection.
The opening may be good timing for the group, as it follows the closure of Homeform operations earlier this month, meaning key brands such as Moben Kitchens and Dolphin Bathrooms are currently out of the market.
Tradepoint is also offering trades men across the country the chance to kit out their local football teams for free. For every £100 spent in store, Tradepoint will issue a voucher towards the kit. The redemption of 40 vouchers will get strip for a five-a-side team, 60 vouchers and they get 11 shirts, shorts and pairs of socks and this increases to a maximum of 100 vouchers which will get them the full top-of-the-range 'ultimate squad bundle' of 14 shirts, shorts and pairs of socks plus a manager's jacket and bag.
All kit comes with both Tradepoint and Nike branding and tradesmen are also offered the chance to add their own sponsorship credit on the sleeve for a charge of £2.75 per shirt.
