Toolstation Launches New Convenience Campaign: Click. Collect. Conquer.
- Toolstation launches new national campaign across media that showcases its convenience and availability
- Click and collect orders available in five minutes at over 550+ stores across the UK
Toolstation, one of Britain’s fastest growing suppliers of tools, accessories and building supplies, will launch a national brand advertising campaign from the 26th August to coincide with its peak trading period in September.
The campaign is designed to showcase Toolstation’s ability to help trade and expert DIY customers conquer their jobs, through its speedy click and collect service proposition, which means that if an order is placed during store opening hours, it is ready to be collected in five minutes at any one of its 550+ store across the UK, making it easier for customers to get everything they need to complete their jobs in one go.
The refreshed 30 second brand ad shows a plumber arriving at a call out to an ordinary looking house. He is shown to the bathroom, where there is a leaky aquarium featuring an unexpected resident - a Great White shark. The voiceover comments: “With click and collect from over 550 stores you can conquer any job with Toolstation.”
The brand positioning will be rolled out across channels throughout the rest of the year, and it continues the strategy of conveying Toolstation’s accessibility and convenience at its +550 stores, online and through the app, while communicating that the brand understands the everyday challenges faced by its trade and expert DIY customers.
The integrated campaign will run on SkySports and BTSports and includes 30 second and 10 second edits for TV, 30 second radio spots on talkSPORT, digital, and social media. The campaign will launch from Saturday August 26th September. Key TV spots secured include during the 12:30pm match between Bournemouth v Tottenham fixture, during Sunday’s fixture between Newcastle v Liverpool, as well as during the Dutch Grand Prix and Wednesday’s Champions League game between PSV Eindhoven and Rangers.
Angela Rushforth, Managing Director Toolstation, said “At Toolstation we know our customers value convenience, availability and expertise above everything else, and this campaign has been designed to demonstrate we have everything they need to conquer any job. Our click and collect proposition is loved by our customers, putting them in control, offering flexibility in picking up their products when it’s convenient to them, saving time and money, enabling them to get the job done in one.”
