Toolstation Adds Boiler Spares To Ever-Growing Product Range
- Research from Toolstation finds 20% of households do not check their boiler ahead of winter, whilst 21% have not checked their boiler in the last five years
Toolstation, one of the UK’s fastest growing and largest suppliers of heating and plumbing supplies, has announced the addition of a new product department to its ever-growing collection. The retailer is now stocking over 400 boiler parts to help provide households with a quick fix for heating issues over autumn and winter.
With summer days long gone and the arrival of autumns big chill, many households are starting to contemplate the decision to turn on their heating. Recent research from Toolstation found that the third Monday of October is often the busiest time for boiler switch-ons, with 33% of the population planning for this date*.
However, the research also found that 20% do not check their boilers ahead of the winter period, despite the recommendation of regular checks, whilst 21% have not checked their boiler in the last five years*.
The new range of spare parts has been introduced by Toolstation to help both households and tradespeople fix any heating issues as quickly and efficiently as possible. From valves, switches and sensors to heat exchangers, PCBs and automatic air vents, these spares cater to boilers of all shapes and sizes, with trade quality brands including Baxi, Ideal, Glowworm, Danfoss, Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and more featuring within the range.
All boiler parts are listed with the manufacturer’s part ID number, simplifying the process for customers to find the correct part for their boiler system.
Toolstation’s multi-channel service also means customers can order online at toolstation.com or on the Toolstation App, with free next day delivery available on any orders before 4pm, and a speedy click & collect system allowing customers to pick up the spare part from their local store within 5 minutes of ordering.
Naeem Adam, a Senior Category Manager from Toolstation, comments “Autumn is the most common period for boiler issues as households switch on their heating after several months of inactivity. Our new range aims to assist people in fixing any issues as quickly as possible to ensure they keep their home cosy throughout autumn and winter, with a selection of great value spare parts that cater to boilers from all major brands.”
With prices starting from just £2, the new range of boiler parts can be found on Toolstation.com.
