The Range fast approaching 50 stores

Home, leisure and garden retailer The Range is on course to open its 49th UK store by the end of this month.

The company will open up a new superstore at Weston Retail Park in Weston-Super-Mare on November 19th, following the arrival of outlets in Eastbourne and Stevenage at the end of October.

Around 150 retail jobs will be created by the new store, which cost approximately £1.9 million to refit.

Chris Dawson, owner and founder of The Range, commented: “We have been trying to open a store in Weston-Super-Mare for years.

“We’ve received letters from local residents asking when we would be opening so it’s fantastic to finally be here and create so many jobs at the same time.”

Dawson plans to open eight more stores in the next 12 months, but locations are yet to be confirmed.

The business currently has outlets located across the UK, including Bournemouth, Blackburn, Rochdale and Romford.
