Adam Seres, Zelf Hussain and Peter Dickens of PwC were appointed as Joint Administrators of The Floor Room Limited – in administration (“the Company”) on 9 August 2024.

The Company is a British retail supplier of carpets and flooring products and is a subsidiary of Nestware Holdings Ltd. Founded in 2023, the Company trades through concessions in 34 John Lewis stores, one dedicated store in London and online, and has 201 employees.

The Company has historically been operationally reliant upon Carpetright Limited, which itself was placed into Administration on 22 July 2024. Prior to the Joint Administrators appointment, the Company’s management team exhausted options to secure further funding or a potential sale of the business and assets.

On appointment, the Joint Administrators made the majority of employees redundant and closed all concessions / stores with immediate effect. Certain Head Office staff will be retained for a short period to support in winding down the Company’s affairs.
