Ten Former Wilko Stores To Reopen As Poundland This Weekend

Poundland has confirmed that ten more stores will be opened in former Wilko stores this Saturday.

in a statement on LinkedIn, Poundland said:

Last week our teams did an amazing job to turn 10 ex-Wilko stores into brand new Poundlands in just six days – the size and scale of what they’ve achieved has been nothing short of phenomenal.
 
But they worked hard because we meant what we said about moving quickly to create jobs for Wilko colleagues and we know how delighted customers were to see so many familiar faces when we opened our doors last Saturday. 
 
But we don’t, and can’t, stop there.
 
This coming Saturday (7 October) we’re opening another 10 former Wilko stores in Melton Mowbray, Matlock, Chepstow, Nottingham, Worcester, Ellesmere Port, Brigg, Redruth, Ferndown and Pontypool.
