Suppliers sign up for new style Totally Shows
Leading industry suppliers are signing up to support the new style Totally Shows which will take place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 10, 11 and 12 February next year. Two of the most recent signings are Toolstream and Everbuild Building Products – both are returning to exhibit after a break.
“Toolstream will be at the show for the first time since 2008 with a fantastic collection of brands and products, including some new introductions to the UK market. Look out for Fixman, Elmer’s, Krazy Glue, GMC, Kreg, Bench Dog, Triton and of course, Silverline Tools,” said show sales director Paul Grinsell. “Toolstream has been experiencing high levels of growth, so it will be great to have them back in the show!”
In addition Everbuild Building Products is also returning to the show after a break last year. Paul commented, “We presented our plans for 2013 to the team there, explained the changes we were making and they signed up straight away!”
Other recent signings include Active Products, Bond-It, Jack Sealey, Jepsons, Klyne & Klyne which will be showing Stanley Tapes & Adhesives, SIKA UK and Stauf Adhesives through PSK Marketing.
“Stand bookings are making steady progress,” said Paul. “It’s important that potential exhibitors understand next year’s show is going to be a step change on from previous years.”
New initiatives so far will see the shows offering bona fide retailers and resellers great hospitality, including a free sit-down lunch as part of their visit and restricting exhibitors to a maximum stand size of 50m² in order to limit their cost of exhibiting and encourage more suppliers to take part.
The show already has the support of key industry wholesalers Home Hardware, Mica DIY and Stax Trade Centres and both leading trade associations, the British Independent Retailers Association (bira) and British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA), which will all have a presence at the show.
