STARK Group Completes State-Of-The-Art Branch In Sweden
STARK Group’s Swedish brand, Beijer Byggmaterial, has finalised its largest single-site investment with the completion of a state-of-the-art branch and logistics centre in Hisings Backa, Gothenburg. The nearly 22,000-square-meter facility strengthens Beijer’s presence in and around Sweden’s second-largest city.
This investment aligns with Beijer’s strategy plan to expand in key growth regions, complementing several acquisitions and new branch openings across western Sweden. Currently, Beijer operates 18 branches in this region out of a total of 116 nationwide.
Combined with the capacity of Beijer’s recently established central warehouse in Eskilstuna, the result is a robust solution that enables faster and more sustainable deliveries of building materials to tradespeople and construction sites with enhanced reliability.
Tradespeople on Sweden’s west coast can now access an unmatched customer experience, benefiting from one of the country’s most advanced branches and logistics centres.
Certified to the Miljöbyggnad Gold standard, the branch meets the highest environmental requirements, including efficient energy use and a healthy indoor environment.
The first phase of the facility, including the pick-up and retail areas, was inaugurated in January 2024.
