The early May Bank Holiday weekend is the first major DIY event of the year. And this year’s will be even bigger than usual as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be a big distraction over the next Bank Holiday weekend.

So if you are planning to get busy about the home, check out the great bargains as reported by The Sun:

HOME BARGAINS have the Black & Decker 9.6V drill driver EPC96CA for £19.99, saving £15.

They also have offers on many Einhell products including the BT-AG 500 angle grinder for £18.99, saving £8.67, the VT-CD 18V cordless drill for £24.99, saving £14.41, the BT-JS 400 electric jigsaw for £18.99, saving £10, and the BT-OS 150 orbital sander for £14.99, saving £7.

VOUCHERCODES.CO.UK have ten per cent off tile, flooring, lighting and paint orders at WICKES, free delivery on orders over £100 at WALLS AND FLOORS and 20 per cent off selected orders over £120 at HOMEBASE.

POUNDLAND have a large range of variously branded DIY products that are excellently priced at, yes, £1 — including 210g bags of all-purpose wallpaper paste, safety glasses, four-packs of superglue and two-packs of halogen spotlight bulbs.
