Retail Predictions 2018 - The Presentation
On 21st February, along with Media Events, Insight DIY will be running the What's new in Home Improvement Press Event at the Business Design Centre in Islington.
In addition to the country's leading journalists, we're extending an invitation to retailers to attend the event. As well as seeing which new products are hitting the market this year, there will be an opportunity at 1:30pm to hear Steve Collinge present his 2018 Retail Predictions.
Steve Collinge to present - Retail Predictions 2018
In a whistle-stop 40min energy packed presentation Steve will provide his usual level of insight and cutting commentary examining the strategy of each of the UK's leading Home Improvement and Garden retailers and predicting how he believes 2018 is likely to shape up for them.
During his presentation he'll be considering the following key questions:-
- How will Kingfisher One and range unification impact on the supply base?
- Do Bunnings UK&I have time to turn-around the failing Homebase business and resolve the self-inflicted issues created by the previous management team?
- Will Wickes heavy investment in their new format stores and particularly Kitchens and Bathrooms pay off?
- What will be the impact of at least another 100 Screwix and Toolstation branches opening in 2018?
- Are Wilko and Wyevale in trouble?
- Why is everyone talking about ManoMano?
If you're involved in the buying or commercial operations of any size of Home Improvement retailer and wish to attend the event and listen to Steve Collinge's presentation, then register your interest by simply emailing enquiries@insightdiy.co.uk, with the words Press Event in the title of the email.

I find the news and articles they publish really useful and enjoy reading their views and commentary on the industry. It's the only source of quality, reliable information on our major customers and it's used regularly by myself and my team.
