Rainy Day Trust Christmas Appeal

thumbnail_New RDT logo 725 x 500.jpg

It might seem a little early to be thinking about Christmas as it is only 13th November (Sorry!), but our planning has already started.  As you may know, the Rainy Day Trust provides food hampers and vouchers to 62 long-term beneficiaries each year and we plan to continue that work in 2019; we also send a hand-written Christmas Card.  The hamper and card from us are frequently the only contact that some of these people have with the outside world at Christmas and it make a huge difference to them to know that someone cares enough to make the effort.

You may have supported us in a previous appeal, so we are hoping that will feel able to do so once again.

Each hamper costs £50, but the added value that it brings to our beneficiaries is enormous.  In order to fund this piece of work, we run a Christmas Appeal and are asking our businesses to donate stock that we can sell at Christmas fairs up and down the country.  It could be end of line items, or other items that you are prepared to let us have.  If you could consider donating some stock to us this year, or perhaps make a donation then we would be incredibly grateful.  If you would like to support the Christmas Appeal, please send products to our new office at:

Rainy Day Trust
8 The Courtyard
Harris Business Park
Hanbury Road
Stoke Prior
B60 4DJ

To support the Christmas Appeal directly, then please go to:

Or you can donate £10 by text by texting HAMPER 10 to 70085 - texts cost your donation plus your standard message rate.  In fact, you can donate any amount from £1 to £20 should you wish to, following the formula shown above.  For example, HAMPER 5, HAMPER 20 and so on between 1 and 20.
