PlumbNation launches ElecNation for online lighting & electrical supplies

PlumbNation, one of the UK’s biggest online plumbing suppliers, has launched a sister brand to grab a share of the online lighting and electrical supplies market.

The new venture, ElecNation, forms part of a five-year plan devised by founder and MD Royden Evans to become a £50m turnover business with further brands in the pipeline

The Wirral businessman says ElecNation’s mission is to “bring consumers the latest and most innovative electrical products available to help them create a stylish and energy efficient home”.

The company also offers commercial customers a free lighting design and quotation service.

Mr Evans said: “With energy bills rising all the time, we have all become more focussed on saving energy and ElecNation offers a wide range of products to help cut costs.

“While helping our customers save money on their energy bills is a major objective, we also provide people with beautifully designed and practical products that will help make their homes more eye-catching, efficient and secure.

Last year the Bromborough-headquartered PlumbNation site received more than two million unique visitors.

The last 12 months has also seen the number of employees rise from 14 to 18 including product specialists and business development managers.

Royden added: “Whether someone is renovating, refurbishing or building a new home, they will be looking for products sold by PlumbNation and now ElecNation. Our mission is to make the buying process as straightforward as possible.”
