Next Home & Garden to take on former Homebase unit in Camberley

British Land is pleased to announce that Next is to open its third Home and Garden store, and the first in the South East, at a former Homebase unit in London Road, Camberley.

Work has started on site and the 43,000 sq ft unit will be substantially modernised and extended through the installation of a mezzanine floor.

The store is due to open in summer 2013, offering fashion and home products supplemented by its DIY and garden provision, Next Home and Garden stores are designed to complement its existing in and out of town portfolio.

Steven Rickard, Asset Manager, for British Land, said: "I am delighted to continue our excellent relationship with Next through the continued roll out of its Home and Garden format. The deal makes optimum use of the property's open A1 planning consent and dominant location."

The store is prominently located on the A30 a mile west of Camberley town centre.
