New Wilko to open in Nottingham

A brand new Wilko store is due to open at the Giltbrook Shopping Park in Nottingham next month. The discount retailer which has 406 UK stores has signed a lease for the new 8,310 sq ft store in the popular shopping park

The Nottinghamshire-based company with it's Head Office in Worksop will create at least 70 new jobs when the store opens in August.

Anthony Houghton Wilko's new Retail Director said: “We are delighted to have signed the lease at Giltbrook Shopping Park and can’t wait to open our doors in August. Having expanded in recent years, Giltbrook attracts more than six million shoppers a year. I’m confident visitors will be impressed by the breadth of our ranges and the quality of our products.

“Wilko is the one stop shop for everyone looking to update their homes, with a variety of ranges from garden, home, health and beauty, decorating, DIY and pets.”
