New PTS HQ building opens in Crick

NORTHAMPTON: After moving 88-plus members of staff into PTS House in April, the ribbon has now officially been cut on the instantly recognisable 'PTS red' building. Opened by the Mayor of Daventry, councillor Ron Fox, the new headquarters represents an investment by PTS, not only in the local area but in its staff and the future of the business.

The opening event, held last week, saw suppliers and local dignitaries including Northampton Saints RFC and England players Tom Wood and Courtney Lawes, gather to celebrate the new facility which was previously a dilapidated, disused building. Attendees had a tour of the new head office and heard from PTS managing director, Ian Church.

"We've had some time to settle in and it's been even better than we anticipated,” he said. “Having state of the art facilities that we can be proud of has definitely given the staff a morale boost. Operating in a working environment of this calibre will undoubtedly have an impact on our determination to continue growing and improving our business."

The new head office in Crick, just north of Northampton, provides freshly refurbished office space, improved meeting facilities and a permanent home for its dedicated British Gas call centre team.

Making full use of its own expertise in the renewable energy sector, PTS has also installed a 30kW solar PV system, air-to-air heat pump and a range of other energy-efficient solutions which will ensure its carbon footprint remains as small as possible.

PTS was previously located at Magna Park in Lutterworth.
