New Flooring Brand Launches Exclusively Within Howdens

Oake & Gray - Premium LVT - Feather Grey Oak - Living Room 725

Howdens, the UK’s number one trade kitchen and joinery supplier, is to become the exclusive supplier of new rigid vinyl flooring brand, Oake & Gray.

Oake & Gray rigid vinyl flooring will be available in real wood-effect and stone-effect designs, offering a breadth of variety to allow homeowners the choice of incorporating the look and texture of natural materials into their designs at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.

Allison Slater, Category Marketing Manager, Howdens, said: “More and more we are working with tradespeople who are experiencing the trend of customers asking for natural materials to be used in their designs.

“Howdens is pleased to be the exclusive supplier of the Oake & Gray brand as it gives end-users a wide choice of textures and designs that are both affordable, and also provide additional benefits over using the ‘real’ thing.”

Oake & Gray’s products are installed using an innovative ‘Quick Click’ system, meaning there is no need for glue during installation. They also come with an integrated underlay, and it is possible to install Oake & Gray flooring over existing hard flooring which will save time and money during installation.

Oake & Gray flooring is a reduced-plastic market alternative made from 70% limestone, not only making it hardwearing and suitable for all rooms in the house, including conservatories, it is able to withstand areas of high footfall remaining dent, scuff, and stain resistant.  It is also 100% waterproof following correct installation and sealing.

Upon its launch, Howdens will stock Oake & Gray flooring with an initial 19 SKUs across four formats, including standard planks, XL planks, herringbone, and tiles.
