Kingfisher Understood to Have Narrowed Down Choices for New CEO
Retail Week has reported that Kingfisher is considering the former CEO of Direct Line as a replacement for outgoing CEO, Véronique Laury (pictured).
Paul Geddes recently left Direct Line after ten years in the role, having led the insurance company through a split from Royal Bank of Scotland and its 2012 stock market floatation. He was also understood to have been one of the candidates for the role of John Lewis Partnership chairman.
Sources told Retail Week that there are now only a few individuals left in the running, with Geddes and an unnamed French candidate the most likely to be appointed as CEO.
