Kingfisher rebrands a further six Brico Depot units in Romania
British retailer Kingfisher recently started the rebranding of six other Bricostore units of the seven that is still operates in Romania as Brico Depot.
The six stores are located in Suceava, Focsani, Braila, Drobeta Turnu Severin, Calarasi and Constanta. All units will remain open throughout the rebranding process, according to a statement of Brico Depot.
The only Bricostore unit that will keep its brand for the moment is that in Baneasa.
Kingfisher inaugurated a series of six stores under the Brico Depot brand in Romania, in October last year, and reached a total of eight Brico Depot stores. Three of them are in Bucharest while the other five are in Ploiesti, Pitesti, Brasov, Arad and Oradea.
Kingfisher bought the Bricostore network with a total of 15 stores in spring 2013. The value of the transaction amounted to EUR 75 million.
