Kingfisher Completes Fifth Tranche Of Share Repurchase Programme

Kingfisher plc ("Kingfisher") announces that the £300 million share repurchase programme announced on 19 September 2023, to purchase its shares for cancellation, has now completed.

The fifth and final tranche of this programme was executed by Goldman Sachs International on Kingfisher's behalf (as announced on 17 January 2025), who purchased 30,314,971 shares for a total consideration of £75 million.

Kingfisher plc ('Kingfisher' or the 'Company') today announces that, Lucinda Riches will succeed Catherine Bradley as Senior Independent Director at the conclusion of the 2025 AGM on 23 June 2025. Lucinda was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Kingfisher in January 2025 and to succeed Rakhi Goss-Custard as Remuneration Committee Chair at the conclusion of the 2025 AGM. Lucinda is currently the independent non-executive chair of Greencoat UK Wind plc and Peel Hunt Limited. She is also a non-executive director of Ashtead Group plc, where she chairs the remuneration committee. Lucinda has confirmed that she will be stepping down from one of her other listed positions in Autumn 2025.
