Jewson wins contract to supply Scottish students
Builders merchant Jewson is to supply building materials and timber to universities and colleges in Scotland having been successful in its tender to APUC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges) Ltd.
In addition to the standard supply of building materials and timber, Jewson will be providing an added value service whereby students from the universities and colleges in Scotland can benefit from product training sessions and branch tours that allows them to gain hands-on experience outside of the classroom.
Mark Kenny, branch manager at Jewson David St said: "We are delighted to have been awarded the framework by the APUC Ltd and we have already welcomed students from City of Glasgow College into the branches. By inviting students into our Jewson branch we aim to ensure they are better-equipped to play an important role in the future of the construction industry."
