IronmongeryDirect reveals animated TV advert

Ron Mongery 725x500

IronmongeryDirect, the UK’s largest online and mail order supplier of ironmongery products, has partnered with Stone Productions to create its first ever animated TV advert.

The campaign, designed to highlight IronmongeryDirect’s commitment to supporting the trade, features an animated character aptly called Ron Mongery, inspired by real customers. The character will subsequently be rolled out to feature across all marketing collateral and channels.

The firm launched the advert this month with Sky Adsmart as its tailored approach targets specific audiences, allowing IronmongeryDirect to reach tradesmen all over the UK.

Wayne Lysaght-Mason, managing director at IronmongeryDirect, said: “We wanted to create a unique ad that portrays a strong brand image and grabs the attention of tradespeople. The use of animation is an eye-catching way to market some of our great offerings, such as next day delivery and our excellent Trustpilot customer review rating of 9.6/10.

“Also, by using Sky Adsmart we are able to specifically reach our target market in order to raise greater awareness around the quality and expertise that underpins everything we do.”

The advert first aired on Tuesday 1st November and will run until Wednesday 30th November, 2016.
