Ironmongery Direct extends Sunday ordering hours

Ironmongery Direct - Sort it Sunday

IronmongeryDirect, is now offering what they believe to be the latest Sunday ordering time in the industry, enabling trades to order goods as late as 8.00pm for next day delivery by phone or online.

The extended ordering time, namely, ‘Sort-It Sunday, Stress Free Monday’, adds further convenience for its customer base and meets the changing trends and demands of the industry.

In the digital age where the standard 9-5 working hours are becoming less applicable, IronmongeryDirect is leading the way and evolving their business strategy, placing the customer firmly at the centre.

Wayne Lysaght-Mason, Managing Director at IronmongeryDirect, said: “More and more of our customers are ordering on a Sunday and it is our responsibility to provide them with the service they need. By extending our order cut-off time, we are giving them the opportunity to get everything prepped and ordered on a Sunday night so that their Monday mornings can be stress free, enabling tradespeople to get on with the job in hand.”

Wayne continued: “With smart phones and tablet computers rapidly changing purchasing habits, the Sunday evening calm is becoming prime time for many tradespeople to get a head start for the following week.”

IronmongeryDirect also reported that it continues to grow its product range, taking on 1,257 new stock items in the last year alone, bringing the total range to over 16,500 products, which further cements its position as the leading supplier of ironmongery and related products to the trade in the UK.

IronmongeryDirect has over 16,500 products available and in stock. Orders can be placed as late as 8pm for next day delivery from Sunday through to Friday and by 4pm on Saturdays. Free, no quibble returns are available on all products.
