Howdens Continues Irish Expansion With First Cork Depot
Howdens, the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier, is continuing its expansion of its depot network across Ireland, after opening its first depot in Cork.
The seventh trade outlet to open in Ireland will be Howdens Togher, Cork. The depot is the first to open outside of Dublin, and will be supported by the UK infrastructure and digital platform.
The company offers thousands of products directly to trade professionals, including kitchens, worktops, appliances, doors, joinery, flooring, and hardware, making it the trade supplier of choice.
Speaking about the depot launch, Mark Campbell, Country Manager, Howdens, said: “We have ambition to open over 50 depots across Ireland, and this first depot outside of Dublin is an important part of our expansion within Ireland. There is an exceptional amount of interest and excitement from the trade, with builders and fitters already having set up accounts ready to trade as soon as we open our doors.
“What makes our business model so successful is the powerful combination of locally empowered depot management, and a dedicated supply chain that can deliver our Irish customers an always in-stock offer.”
Howdens Togher is located at Unit 2 & 3, Vantage Trade Centre, Pouladuff Road, Togher, Cork, T12 PC92.
