Howdens confirms start date for new CEO Andrew Livingston

Howdens Joinery Group, the largest kitchen business in the UK with over 650 depots, has announced that Andrew Livingston, chief executive designate will join the business on 29th January as the founder and current CEO Matthew Ingle retires.
Matthew Ingle, who has grown the business from one branch 22 years ago, has decided to step down before the end of June 2018 following a five month handover period with Andrew Livingston, who was poached from Screwfix last year.
Matthew commented "Howdens has a number of significant long-term opportunities ahead and I look forward to working with Andrew in helping take Howdens onto the next successful phase in its development."
Livingston had been at Kingfisher since 2009, following previous roles as chief operating officer of Wyevale Garden Centres and as commercial director of kitchens and bathrooms at B&Q.
