Howdens: 2020 Coronavirus Statement

A message to the trade from our CEO, Andrew Livingston

The COVID-19 crisis is affecting us all. I want to assure you that our teams across the business, in our factories, and our 740 depots are here to support you and your business. The first priority is to ensure the welfare and safety of all our customers and colleagues.

Customer and staff safety is our absolute number one priority

We are strictly adhering to and monitoring government operational guidelines to maintain everyone’s safety and health. I would ask, however, that if you or any family member is experiencing signs of COVID-19, please follow government advice and do not come to depot. All our staff have also been briefed in this respect and we are doing everything we can to ensure we trade safely.

All our depots are currently open during their normal hours and we are continuing to trade with high levels of stock locally

We have bought and made in our factories additional products to maintain a high level of stock in depots and through our supply chain. We will also be well-stocked when we all get through this.
