What are the key benefits of subscribing to Insight DIY?

Our clients use insight DIY in a variety of different ways to help them successfully grow and develop their businesses. However, we’ve summarized below just a few of the ways in which we might be able to help you achieve your company goals and objectives:

1. Need buyer’s names and contact details? Maybe for potential new customers or even for all the retailers within a specific channel, such as Grocery? As a subscriber to Insight DIY, you get full access to the Insight Team of researchers, who will provide that information to you. If we don’t have it, we’ll find it.

2. Forthcoming meeting with a major retailer? Use the Insight Knowledge Centre to ensure that you are fully up to speed with all of the latest initiatives and new store openings. Understand the issues affecting your customer and ensure that your strategy is aligned with theirs.

3. Preparing your business plan? Access the Retailer Profiles within the Insight Knowledge Centre to identify the key strategic drivers for each of your key customers.

4. Recruiting for a new team member? The recruitment division of Insight probably has the best contacts within the Home Improvement, Housewares and Gardening industries and regularly finds and places talented individuals from Sales Directors and National Account Managers to territory representatives.

5. New Team members? Ensure that new members of your Sales & Marketing Team are fully up to speed with the customers that they will be coming into contact with. As well as using the Knowledge Centre, Insight delivers industry relevant training courses including ‘An introduction to the UK Home Improvement Market’ as well as ‘Successfully selling to B&Q’, Homebase and Wickes.

6. Writing your monthly report? If you’re briefing senior management, your team, or simply writing your monthly report then all of the customer specific and UK macro economic data you need is available within the Knowledge Centre and updated on a daily basis.

7. Need to know what market reports are available? Within the Market Reports section of the Insight Knowledge Centre, we feature many of the industry relevant reports produced by Euromonitor and AMA. As a subscriber, we are able to regularly offer discounts off many of these reports.

8. Need to check on how your products look in store? Sitting in a meeting and need to check what your brands or your competitors product displays look like in a key customer, then use the image gallery. As a subscriber, Insight will ensure that your product displays within the key retailers are continually kept up to date.

9. Don’t have time to visit a new format store opening? Check out every one of the new store openings within your customers, without ever having to leave your desk. Whenever a new store opens, the Insight Team is there, taking images and producing a report, ensuring that you are continually kept up to date.
