Houzz Inc., the leading platform for home renovation and design, today introduced new 3D Floor Planner kitchen features for Houzz Pro, the all-in-one business management and marketing solution for residential construction and design professionals. The new features empower pros to quickly and easily communicate their vision for a kitchen project to current or prospective clients through 2D floor plans and 3D models that include cabinetry, appliances, islands, drawers, sinks and taps. The new features also help pros showcase the value of making significant changes to a kitchen, such as moving a wall, adding an island or expanding cabinet space, so that clients can feel confident moving forward with the project.

“Kitchens command the highest spend and are one of the most consistently popular projects among homeowners. We’re seeing even more demand than usual as enquiries for kitchen renovations have doubled on Houzz compared to the same period last year,” said Alon Cohen, Houzz co-founder and president. “As pros manage an increasingly full project load, they shared that they needed an easy and efficient way to help their clients visualise their project and expedite the decision making process. Considering recent supply chain constraints on cabinetry, appliances and other materials, we’re pleased that pros can use the Houzz Pro 3D Floor Planner to align on important project decisions with their clients early in the process and order materials as soon as possible.”

When designing a kitchen using Houzz Pro’s 3D floor planner, pros can now choose from a wide selection of cabinet and drawer configurations, panel styles, colours and wood finishes, as well as sink and tap styles. They can include nuanced surface details from hardware materials and finishes to worktop styles and edges, offering a realistic look at the future space that can be presented in dollhouse and walkthrough views. The tool also includes appliances in a variety of sizes, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves and extractor fans.

The new kitchen features build upon the robust 3D Floor Planner tool, which already enabled pros to select from an array of tile and wood flooring options and an extensive list of wall colours through our exclusive collaboration with Dulux Trade. The 3D Floor Planner is included with any subscription to Houzz Pro, which helps pros run an efficient, profitable business and makes it easy for them to reach new customers, all while delivering a standout client experience. Houzz Pro is available in more than 10 countries across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Subscription packages, priced to fit any budget or team, also include website building services, lead management CRM, and business management tools.
