Homebase's Director of IT Leaves The Business

Paul Cannon, Head of Information Technology at Homebase, has confirmed he has left the business after five and a half years to work in another sector.

Prior to joining Homebase, Paul  worked as Head of Retail IT at Wickes for almost three years and spent nearly 14 years in various roles at B&Q.

In a post on LinkedIn, Paul said:

"So this is my last week at Homebase, and what a 5 and half years it’s been. I leave behind such a phenomenal team, who have delivered so much and made the business so much better and easier to be part of.

"Thanks you to everyone that has made it so much fun, and thank you to my team for being absolutely incredible and thank you for the most random but brilliant leaving gift ever, ensuring that I won’t ever forget you all. Gary the Tortoise is coming home on Tuesday, and my next adventure in a completely different industry starts on Wednesday!"
