Homebase refreshes catalogues with lifestyle look
or the first time in its 30-year history, home and garden retailer Homebase will feature models on the front covers of its fitted bedrooms and bathrooms catalogues. The new lifestyle look was developed and created by design agency Photolink, with which Homebase has an existing relationship.
The three-month project saw Photolink design and produce 1,016 pages across seven new catalogues for Homebase including the fitted bedroom, bathroom, kitchens, tiling, flooring, and appliance brochure categories, as well as a pricing book.
Commenting on the redesign, Davinia White, Homebase’s publications manager says the business was encouraged “to push creative boundaries and try things we never have before, which is essential in such a competitive marketplace.” This includes, for example, more aspirational lifestyle photography in the appliances catalogue. The new look builds on Homebase’s make a house a home strapline.
