The deal with Hire Station means units at the Wulfrun Trading Estate in Wolverhampton are now fully occupied with companies including Screwfix, Selco Builders Warehouse and Toolstation.

Ed Jenkinson, agency surveyor at Bulleys, said: “Wulfrun Trading Estate is proving to be a real hit with trade counter and building supplies companies, so it was no surprise when Hire Station filled the last unit.

“We are delighted to have completed the attractive trade counter occupiers, spurred on by the original letting to Selco. We have achieved good rental levels on long-term leases, helped by the site’s much sought-after B8 planning permission for storage and distribution. This is now the perfect location for a one-stop shop where traders, builders and DIY enthusiasts can buy, hire and collect their tools, goods and equipment.”

Mark Moody, director at Hire Station, which has over 200 branches across the UK, said: “This is an exciting re-location that will allow us to supply a broader range of products and engage more with local tradesmen.

“We’re really pleased with our new site in Wolverhampton as it’s in a prime trade counter location with great access and plenty of parking space, and is ideally situated in terms of our customers.”
