Grafton Group acquires Crescent Building Supplies

Grafton Group plc, the builders' merchanting and DIY Group with operations in the UK, Ireland and Belgium, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Crescent Building Supplies Limited.

Crescent Building Supplies is an independent supplier of building materials trading from four branches located in Ruislip, Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Maidenhead. The four branches will be integrated into the Buildbase division of Grafton Merchanting GB, widening the Buildbase coverage across the South East.

Grafton Merchanting GB has said it will be investing in the four branches, expanding the stock range and introducing Hirebase and Electricbase to further meet the needs of local tradespeople.

The acquisition of Crescent Building Supplies increases the network to 200 Buildbase branches.
