Leading gardening brand, GARDENA, has announced that YouTube sensation, best-selling author, garden presenter and regenerative food enthusiast, Huw Richards and expert eco-designer, interiors TV presenter and warrior on waste, Lynne Lambourne will be supporting the brand as ambassadors for 2023.

As part of the ambassadorship, Huw and Lynne will work closely with GARDENA on a wide range of marketing campaigns and activities throughout the year. This includes attending events, supporting product launches as well as sharing their valuable expertise with passionate gardeners through social media content, with the mission of inspiring their collective audiences to realise their garden dreams.

Continuing his ambassadorship after a successful year, Huw will return to partner with GARDENA in 2023. This year, the partnership will see the 24-year-old passionate gardener share his expertise in sustainable living and organic food growth.

As GARDENA’s sustainable ambassador, Lynne will champion driving awareness of sustainable practices within gardening, showing that you can still create beautiful spaces whilst taking better care of the planet. Lynne also returns as GARDENA’s garden designer at the RHS Chelsea Flower, the world’s most iconic five-day gardening event.

GARDENA is the leading supplier of high-quality gardening tools and irrigation systems, and together with the support of two ambassadors, will aim to highlight the importance of the garden as a ‘living space close to nature” as well as a place of well-being, recreation and enjoyment.

Speaking on the partnership, Huw Richards said: "I'm delighted to be working again with GARDENA. Our shared dedication to helping as many gardeners as possible get the most from their space is the perfect match, and I have been so impressed by all the GARDENA products I've been using that the chance to work with them again was an easy decision to make."

Also sharing her excitement, Lynne Lambourne said: “I’m delighted to be an ambassador for Sustainability for GARDENA, a brand that aligns with the values that I have. GARDENA not only provides tools that enable gardeners to maintain healthy, beautiful gardens to grow their own food and encourage biodiversity but also works hard on innovation to incorporate recycled materials into their products and educate consumers on living more sustainably.

Sarah Bentham, UK Marketing Manager at GARDENA said: “Huw’s authentic and educational content aligns perfectly with GARDENA’s, encouraging passionate gardeners to realise their gardening dreams through sharing useful information. Aside from offering his helpful insight online, we’re thrilled to also have Huw supporting with this year’s events too.

“We worked collaboratively with Lynne on several projects last year, including the incredibly successful RHS Chelsea Flower Show and ReThink! campaign. Lynne shares the brand’s mission to make gardening more sustainable whilst keeping it fun and creative. With a mutual passion for innovation, fresh thinking, and gardening in a smarter and more eco-friendly way, Lynne is the perfect fit for GARDENA and we’re delighted to be working with her on a wider level for 2023.”
