Frosts partners with Diarmuid Gavin for 'Inspired Gardens' service
The Frosts Garden Centre Group has signed an exclusive deal with celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin to provide a bespoke garden design service called Inspired Gardens.
Gavin will use his expertise and imagination to create bespoke gardens through the Frosts Garden Design Team.
Frosts MD James Frost said: "This is the first partnership of its kind across the Garden Centre Industry and a huge coup for Frosts.
"Diarmuid has become a good friend of the garden centre and supported us on several occasions but now this friendship has grown to become a valuable business offering to add to our portfolio of expertise.
He added: "Inspired Gardens is a completely new level of service for customers that no other Garden Centre across the UK has and we are proud to be leading the way in the evolution of garden design."
The starting price of a garden designed by Gavin and created by the team is £50,000. This includes four key stages.
1. The Consultation.
This is with Diarmuid in the person’s home to view the garden and gain a sense of what the customer is looking to achieve, including the style, function, inspiration and functionality of the garden.
2. The Big Presentation.
Diarmuid returns later to present his ideas, which include hand drawn sketches, mood boards and accompanying visuals of his inspiration.
3. The Final Design.
Once the design has been finalised, a more detailed design will be drawn up to include planting plans and final layout. These will be delivered by Frosts Garden Design Team for sign off.
4. The Build.
Frosts Garden Design team undertakes the build and planting working from Diarmuid’s design. Diarmuid works with Frosts on every aspect of the build and is present during the planting and for initial completion and handover.
Gavin said: "I am delighted to be working with Frosts Garden Centre and its team of design and landscape experts.
"This is an exceptional service for someone looking to explore the unimaginable possibilities of garden design and to create a unique and personal haven within any size, space or shape. The bigger the challenge the better."
