Shurtape is launching a new TV ad for its market-leading decorating product FrogTape®.

Targeting the mainstream consumer DIYer, the new campaign uses the Frog character to demonstrate the world of creativity that FrogTape®  can deliver, as it leaps from the packaging onto paints and various surfaces and products. The advert shows just how can FrogTape® can be used in painting feature walls, decorating ornaments and upcycling furniture.

“This is the first time we have used the character of the frog to show consumers the range of finished effects the tape can help them achieve,” says Alan Murray, Shurtape UK Head of Marketing. “We have timed the campaign to tap into the key Spring DIY season. Our aim is to really inspire homeowners and renters across the UK, by showing them how easy it is to add great touches to their home.”

The ad will stay close to the product’s heritage by explaining how FrogTape® works, highlighting the magic that is Paintblock®, Shurtape’s patented technology which ensures you “Keep paint out. Keeps lines sharp”.  It will appear on mainstream TV stations including ITV, Sky and a range of Ch4 channels, with a targeted campaign around the key daytime show Good Morning Britain, launching in March and entitled ‘Brings Painting to life’.

Concludes Alan: “We’ll supplement the daytime TV ads with radio advertising on Heart as well as trade ads to fully support our trade customers, who have seen the benefits of TV advertising and our cross-product marketing in the past.”https://www.frogtape.co.uk
