Frensham Garden Centre bought by Squire's

A well-known and successful garden centre located in Frensham, to the south of Farnham, has been bought by the Squire's Garden Centre chain.

The award-winning Frensham Garden Centre is located near to the famous Frensham Ponds in the heart of the Surrey countryside. 

Squire's made the following statement in relation to the sale: 

D.J. Squire & Co., Ltd (“Squire’s”) and Wheelhouse Warehousing Ltd (“Wheelhouse”) are pleased to announce the purchase of Frensham Garden Centre by Squire’s from Wheelhouse effective from 1 August 2018.

We (Squire’s) have taken over all the assets and business of the Garden Centre and the Frensham team has become part of Squire’s.

Commenting on the purchase, Sarah Squire, Deputy Chairman of Squire’s, said: “we are delighted to see Frensham Garden Centre and its excellent team joining the Squire’s group.  We have great respect for what has been achieved over the years at Frensham and look forward to welcoming the Frensham team as they become part of the Squire’s family business”.

David Wheelhouse, owner of Wheelhouse, commented: “I am happy to see the business that I have built up over many years, and the hard-working and loyal team members, become part of Squire’s.  I have known the Squire family for many years and am confident that they will build on the firm foundations that we have created at Frensham Garden Centre”.
